Garden Markers

Hello and Happy Sunday to everyone. I feel bad about not being able to blog lately but we have been ultra busy and I just havent made the time. We have had a death in the family, a wedding and dr. appts. and everything else you can think of. We have also been battling over 100 degree days here in south Texas. I cant help but think about what is going to happen to my yard. My garden is all dried up and its all I can do to keep the pot flowers going. A couple of weeks ago I found the greatest blog. (Blogland is so huge. There are so many talented people out there) If you like animals, cooking, gardening and a great writer then you will love it! It is called Chickens in The Road, go to www.suzannemcminn.com. I saw these garden markers on this blog and I knew I had to try them. I went to Home Depot and purchased all the supplies and my daughters and I sat down on the back porch and made them. My husband cut all the wood and we did the painting and put them together. I made them in sun yellow but I am going to make some more in some different colors. We had so much fun making them I think we will make some for gifts too!

Hey, I really like the signs for the garden! They are so cute. You have a great blog site! It was good to see you and your girls at Uncle Herbert's rosary on Friday. Keep up the good work!! Jennifer

Oh those are precious!!! I know what you mean about the hot, dry Texas weather. We are fighting the drought ourselves. Our garden is still producing but it's hard to keep up with the watering.

I am sorry to hear of your family's loss. My prayers are with you for comfort and peace.

Have a safe and restful 4th!
